Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) opened its Public Viewing Room on the first floor of One and Two Exchange Square, Central to the public today (Thursday).
The Public Viewing Room is equipped with four workstations, which investors can use to search and view issuers’ announcements, notices and other documents on the HKEx websites, and to access the websites of the Securities and Futures Commission. The Public Viewing Room is open between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm on the trading days for HKEx’s markets.
“Searching and viewing issuers’ announcements on our websites has become increasingly popular with the prevalence of the Internet and the public’s easy access to it,” said HKEx Head of Listing Richard Williams. “The Public Viewing Room was designed to provide additional facilities for the public to access information on the websites.”
