HKEX Chief Executive Charles Li joined other exchange leaders at the 34th Annual Futures and Options Expo (FIA Expo 2018) in Chicago on Wednesday to discuss building a future of growth and innovation for exchanges.
Charles Li spoke at the Exchange Leaders panel along with CME Group Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Terry Duffy, Eurex Chief Executive Officer Thomas Book, Nasdaq President & Chief Executive Officer Adena Friedman, Intercontinental Exchange Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Jeff Sprecher and Cboe Global Markets Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Edward Tilly.
Li focused on the current US-China relationship in his remarks. The leaders also discussed the future of crypto currencies and blockchain, cross-border regulation, clearinghouse risk, Brexit and women’s role in the evolution of exchanges and the global marketplace.
